RELATED:  Tobacco Retail Map

Our TOBACCO BRFSS modeling project attempts to downscale Center for Disease Control's (CDC) BRFSS survey questions to a county level – focusing on key health indicators related to TOBACCO USE, including: type of tobacco use, unprescribed opiod use, disability, family dysfunction, abuse, poor health, and prohibitive cost of medical care. Given the impact of the social determinants on health, we also provide county level data for key factors that impact health using the American Community Survey (ACS): age, disability, educational attainment, employment, ethnicity, health insurance coverage, limited English, poverty, and veteran status.
